// WORK

Our Work

Who we have built for and what we built, in plain words. Short on purpose. If you want the longer version of any of these, ask us.

Client work

Faulkner Industrial

A company whose crews work out in the field and whose office has to keep track of every job.

// WHAT_THEY_NEEDED
They needed one place to schedule field jobs and see where each one stood, for the office and the crews alike.
// WHAT_WE_BUILT
A field job scheduling and tracking system. The office schedules the work, crews see what is theirs, and everyone can tell at a glance what is done and what is next. It is one of several projects we have done together.
Wade Faulkner

MM Intelligence has simplified our experience and communication efforts through multiple projects. The team brings insight, up to date experience, and superb communication skills to the process.

Landmarks Foundation, Old Alabama Town

The foundation that runs Old Alabama Town, a restored nineteenth-century district in Montgomery.

// WHAT_THEY_NEEDED
Visitors were touring with a paper map and a numbered sheet. The foundation wanted the stories on a phone, without drilling a single hole in a historic wall.
// WHAT_WE_BUILT
A self-guided tour app for the district. Small battery-powered beacons sit near each building, and as a visitor walks up, the app brings that building's story onto their phone. Nothing is drilled into or mounted on the historic buildings.
Jacob van Megen

MM Intelligence made our interpretative beacon installation at Old Alabama Town such a rewarding experience. They took genuine care to understand our site and our visitors, offering thoughtful guidance every step of the way.

Client work

Centre for Youth Policy

An organization working on youth policy.

// WHAT_THEY_NEEDED
They needed a public website their own team could keep current, and a simple system behind it for the day-to-day work.
// WHAT_WE_BUILT
A new website with a clean design that their team updates themselves, plus an internal tool for the work behind the scenes. Both were up quickly, and both are easy to change without losing the look.
Sudhanshu Kaushik

MMI produced a very clean and easy interface almost overnight that exceeded my expectations, and a system we can update intuitively without sacrificing design.

Community

The Alabama Collective

An Alabama organization that runs the HBCU App Build and Pitch Competition.

// WHAT_THEY_NEEDED
They wanted the student teams to put AI to work during the competition, not just hear a talk about it.
// WHAT_WE_BUILT
We led the AI workshop for the competition and mentored the student teams as they built and pitched their apps.
Charisse Stokes

The AI workshop led by MMI was a standout part of our HBCU App Build and Pitch Competition. Students were fully engaged, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

AskMGM home screen with suggested questions about Montgomery city data
Our own project

AskMGM

Our own civic project for Montgomery. A free tool that lets anyone ask a question about the city in plain English.

// WHAT_THEY_NEEDED
City data was public but spread across dozens of datasets that only a specialist could make sense of.
// WHAT_WE_BUILT
A free website where a resident types a question the way they would ask a neighbor and gets an answer drawn from the city's own open data. Nonprofits use it, and so do regular people looking something up about their own neighborhood.
MateMove fitness tracker screens on iPhone
Our own project

MateMove

Our own fitness app for iPhone. Free, private, and all in one place.

// WHAT_THEY_NEEDED
People wanted one app for workouts, meals, and steps that did not charge a subscription or keep their data.
// WHAT_WE_BUILT
MateMove tracks workouts, nutrition, and steps in one app. Bring your own AI key and it adds AI features on top. It is private, it is free, and it has more than 3,000 downloads.
Mango website headline: answer every call without picking up the phone
Our own project

Mango

Our own AI receptionist for small businesses.

// WHAT_THEY_NEEDED
Small business owners were missing calls after hours and during the hours they were busy with customers. They needed someone to pick up.
// WHAT_WE_BUILT
Mango, an AI voice receptionist that answers the phone around the clock, talks with the caller, and books the appointment. It works on the number the business already has.

Community

AI Without the Overwhelm and other workshops

Faculty, student services teams, business owners, and conference audiences at Auburn University, the Urban League of Alabama, Montgomery.AI, and other rooms across the state.

// WHAT_THEY_NEEDED
Most people have never seen what AI can do with a real problem and a good prompt.
// WHAT_WE_BUILT
Hands-on sessions where everyone builds something they will use the next day. AI Without the Overwhelm started with Auburn faculty and has since run for student services teams and conference audiences. Since 2024 we have been doing this in person, one room at a time.
